Digital Photography, Commercial Spoofing and Music Video Competition
How to Join:
Digital Photography
The theme for the contest is “Morayta Blues” – Photos capturing REAL moments, REAL emotions and REAL actions on the streets of Morayta.
An entry must be an image originally photographed by the contestant WITHOUT MANIPULATION (i.e., Photoshop edited). The name or signature of the participant must not appear in any part of the photo.
A contestant may submit up to four (4) entries.
Photo entries must be 4R in size.

Concept 50%
Image Quality 20%
Overall Impact 30%
TV Ads Spoofing
An entry may either be from an individual or from a group of not more than 5 members, inclusive of performers, script writers, directors, propsmen, etc.
Contestant(s) may spoof any local TV commercial, but the name and logo of the product/company may not be used as is. Modifications are required.
Video entries must be in MPEG/AVI/WMV format and must not exceed 60 seconds in length.

Music Video Making
An entry may either be from an individual or from a group of not more than 5 members, inclusive of performers, script writers, directors, propsmen, etc.
Contestant(s) may perform any original or adapted song and may either lip-synch/mimic instruments or play actual instruments/use actual singing voice.
Video entries must be in MPEG/AVI/WMV format and must not exceed 5 minutes in length.

Showmanship 20%
Video Effects 20%
Overall Impact 30%
Enclose your entry inside a brown envelop together with the “title of the entry”, “your name/group name”, “course” and “year”. Participants may submit their entries to Mr. John Wilmer Jimenez of SACSO not later than October 8, 2009. Late submissions shall not be accepted.
There will be one winner for each category; each will receive a cash prize, a certificate of recognition and bragging rights for whatever legitimate purposes it may serve the winners. The decision of the panel of judges shall be final. Finalists will be announced on October 12, 2009 (see bulletin boards). Winners will be awarded on October 15, 2009 at Lobby, 6th floor, Tech Building.
